Chipotle’s Sofritas!

So, I had a delicious vegan meal at Chipotle last night. The sofritas are just the right texture in my opinion. It was so nice to see the giant “V” stamped in a chain restaurant, let alone one of my favorites! The sofritas were flavored perfectly, mixed with my usual fajita veggies and guacamole.

Luckily, our new gym is right across the street from Chipotle, so we did double duty and headed to workout.

[Forgive me if I butcher some of these exercise names. I know how to do them, just not the technical terms, haha]

The gym consisted of:

Elliptical Intervals (30 sec max out, 30 sec recovery for 30 min)

Medicine Ball Bouncebacks (20 with 6lb ball, 20 with 8lb ball)

Squats (3x10reps with 30lb bar)

Stairmaster (I had never used this one before, so I can’t even explain what I did haha)

12 minute Ab circuit

Chest Fly (3x10reps)

And then, of course, an awesome massage.

Going Vegan

I believe my first day of being vegan will be either July 1st or when I’ve lost the entire weight that I want to lose. I want to lose the weight first so that I’m not worrying about both Veganism and numbers on the scale.

I am currently compiling my favorite articles and guides into one user friendly paper for me to use. I’ll share when I’m done! Any good vegan tips?

Dance Workshop!

Spent all morning at the Associated Dance Teachers of New Jersey’s February Workshop.

I learned from some excellent faculty members through Tap, Hip Hop, Theater and Contemporary. It was a rough and sweaty day but it was fun! It’s been awhile since I’ve danced full out like that.

I need to find a regular adult jazz or hip hop class to keep me moving. There’s gotta be a good one near me!

Who am I?

Well ‘ello, there!

Thanks for stumbling across my brand new blog. I go by Gail, but if we’re being formal, you can call me Gailmarie. I am starting this blog more for my personal tracking but also to share my experiences, knowledge and general challenges with the world.
